The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The tunnel's southern entry point is located in Refaim Park below Ein Laban. The northern entrance is in Nahal Ein Kerem about half an hour away from the Kerem junction.

The current works include road construction, installation of blowers as well as modern security and electrical systems to ensure the tunnel is safe for the public to pass through at all times of the year.
Kerem Tunnel Kerem Tunnel provides access to special recreation areas, such as Ein Kerem neighbourhood, the biblical aquarium and zoo as also the historical natural springs Ein Haniyeh, Ein Laban Ein Laban, and Ein Haniyeh.
